There was much excitement in the halls of WF Vision this week, as the inaugural print copy of Vision landed on our desks. Well, correction. It wasn't really allowed to land on our desks. It was hidden, by the loading dock, with "Keep Out" signs on the door, while a select few prepared a "Launch Lunch" in the conference room, where the new magazine would be unveiled to all at once.
While Grace prepared lunch, we waited. Then we were summoned to the conference room, where champagne was poured, and everyone cracked open their copies. Now, mind you, we had gone through proofs myriads of times. We had flipped through the digital edition. None of it was a surprise. But as much as we love our digital world, there is still nothing like the weight of the real-live magazine in one's hands. We pored over it. We commented. We critiqued. But, mostly, we celebrated:

Left: What's a launch without a champagne toast? And so we did ... with Grace leading the way. Below: Peggy Yung takes a peek.
The magazine was mailed this week. Watch your mailbox! I'd love to hear your feedback. Write me!
